R.I.E.S Working Towards
ISO 14001 Audit
R.I.E.S are at present working with Global Certification Services to
have their engineers trained to audit to ISO 14001 standard. It is anticipated
that this will be done before the end of November. In addition the company is pursuing the possibility of assessments of the ACORN scheme which
is perhaps more user friendly than 14001. ACORN gives companies
the opportunity to work on a graded scheme to reach the level that best suits their business

Beahan Ltd has been sucessful in attaining registration for ISO 9001: 2008. He is seen here receiving his certificate

R.I.E.S and David Holmes Chief Engineer and Lead Auditor who carried out the inspection at the company. Following the
presentation Derek said, "It was hard work but I consider it a worthwhile project." Well done to Derek
and Pauline who prepared the Quality Manual.
